Pre-production

Youtube - online
We used YouTube to research past title sequences and ones from big popular films and Tv series such as Baby driver and Bodyguard to gain inspiration and an idea of what sort of things are involved in a title sequence and what needs to be included such as the order of the titles. We also looked into other sequences to see what makes a good opening sequence and how we can achieve this in our own one. We also used Youtube to upload our title sequences onto allowing the public to see them and our peers we did this by uploading them onto the Hurtwood House YouTube channel, this also meant we could use the link to embed sections or even our whole sequence into our blogger and even this website.

Outlook- software
We used Outlook to communicate with our teacher for example if we had any questions about our plan or his opinion on what would work well but also not so well, emailing our group for things such as who is doing what for that current week or any changes that have been made and we need to make each other aware of and lastly getting into contact with teachers who we would have liked in our title sequence by asking if they would like to take part in it and if so the schedule for the day and what their part is.

Google - online
We used google probably the most out of all of these forms of software/online as we did the majority of our research using google such as what our titles, filming roles and opening film research into all genres of film and also many more which are all shown on my blogger. To go into more detail with research into genres of film we also used YouTube to look and anyalise these opening scenes and understand how different genres are shown through all four filming elements (camera, sound, editing and MIse-En-Scene ) aswell as google to find key information such as the year it was made, director and title of the film.

Whatsapp- software
We used WhatsApp to communicate as a group, we did this by making a group chat and texting on it if anyone had any questions or if we needed to confirm things that we needed to write in our blog post about our sequence, we also used it to send any photos or videos from our workshops and even our shoot day so that we had a wide range of photos to use in our blog posts.

Imovie- software

We used Imovie in pre-production when we were editing and putting together our test shoot as a practise before our real one, To do this we uploaded all of our shots that we took on our phone onto iMovie and edited it as a rough plan to how we want our final piece to look like using the basic editing skills.

MacBook Air- Hardware
I used my MacBook Air to edit the test shoot on using iMovie.

For all of these different types of software online was used for all of them as for them to function a connection/internet was needed.
